A. The competition will be on a Single Elimination Bracket System
B. All drivers are required to wear a DOT Approved Helmet, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Pants, Boots, Goggles and Gloves. Absolutely NO exposed Skin is allowed!
C. All drivers under 18 must have Parental Signatures on Waiver of Liability and a Parent or Legal Guardian must be at the race when their son/daughter is racing or participating in the BCATV Rally.
D. Drivers are required to be in staging area when they are scheduled.
E. A driver must remain on the track at all times. If they go off the track, they must safely re-enter the track at the nearest point they left the track.
F. Each driver must stay in their respective lane until passing the Lane Cones. At that time the driver then can choose where they want to run on the track.
G. The Event Manager or Flagman has the right to disqualify a driver for unsportsmanlike conduct, or conduct that is not safe for other drivers, workers, or fans. A driver that is disqualified from the competition WILL NOT GET A REFUND on entry and/or any fees.
H. No driver is allowed to go faster than 5MPH in the staging and parking areas. Any driver caught going to fast in the Pits can be disqualified from a race. Like all disqualifications, a driver will NOT GET A REFUND on entry and/or any fees.
I. Drivers that are up next are required to be in the staging area at least 5 minutes prior to there heat.
J. NO DRIVER is allowed to interfere with the work being done by the Officials, Flagman, Event Manager or Security personal.
K. Only those that signed a Waiver of Liability are allowed on the track. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS!
L. When a Red Flag is pulled by a Safety Worker or Flagman, that driver MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY. It does not matter where the driver is on the course when the Red Flag is pulled. The Driver must stop his machine.
M. When a Safety Worker signals the SAFE course/route/line to take around a down driver, the driver MUST TAKE THAT course/route/line around the down driver. If the driver does not take the SAFE course/route/line around the down driver, it will be determined by the Flagman or Event Manager as to whether or not to totally disqualify the driver from all competition. SAFETY of ALL drivers will NOT be compromised!
N. All drivers must go through Safety Check prior to entering the track. NO NITROUS WILL BE ALLOWED, THIS WILL IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFY YOU FROM ALL EVENTS!!! AGAIN, THE SAFETY OF ALL DRIVERS WILL NOT BE COMPOMISED!!!!
O. ATV's with winches must have the end of the winch cable securely attached. The hook must be tight, no excess cable on the winch will be allowed during a race.
P. It is the responsibility of the driver to immediately signal to Safety Workers and Emergency people if he/she is OK. If the driver does not signal that they are OK, the Safety Worker/Flagman can issue a Red Flag.
Q. By entering the BCATV Rally the driver allows BCATV to use his/her name, pictures of his/her machine before/during/and after a race for promotional purposes with no fees/awards/prizes given to the driver.
R. All drivers are required to be at the Drivers meeting in the staging area 5 minutes prior to their heat.
S. Drivers are required to pay admission to the event, just like anyone else. Drivers must understand that gate admission is what gives the race organization the funds to build the track and to host the event.
T. All drivers will be required to have a Bib/ATV number. Where that number will be worn or affixed is to be determined before the event, and explained when picking up their registration packet.
U. BCATV has the right to have additional rules or waive certain rules already stated.
V. All Officials Calls and Event Manager Decisions are FINAL!
W. All Racers must read, understand, and agree to abide by the rules given.
OBSTACLE/FLAT COURSE
Classes:
a. Pee-Wee 50cc (ages 6-8), 2 Laps
b. Youth 90cc or less (ages 9-11), 4 Laps
c. Youth 125cc or less (ages 12-15), 2wd, 5 Laps
d. Youth 2WD 350cc or less (ages 16-17), 5 Laps
e. Youth 4WD 350cc or less (ages 16-17), 5 Laps
f. 18+ 2wd (any cc), 8 Laps
g. 18+ 4wd (any cc), 8 Laps
h. PRO 2wd, 10 Laps
i. PRO 4wd, 10 Laps
Event Rules
1) All ATVs must start from the designated start line.
2) When the flagger waves the green flag, you can start.
3) The ATV and ride must stay within the events markers.
4) If you or the ATV leaves the course, you must back up until you are back into the course boundaries before you can continue forward.
5) No restarts or re-runs. You get one attempt and one start.
6) The Back County ATV Association reserves the right to alter the rules posted on this website. The final rules will be posted at the BCATV Rally.
7) The decisions of the Event Manager are final.
MUD BOG
The object is to make it as far as possible and as quickly as possible through the MUDBOG. All attempts making it the full distance will be timed. All attempts not making it the full distance will be measured.
Classes:
a. 2wd 250cc & under
b. 2wd 251cc & above
c. 4wd 325cc & under
d. 4wd 326cc - 450cc
e. 4wd 451cc & above
Event Rules
1) The cost will be $5.00 for each pass through the pit. The person with the longest single run will be considered the winner. If anyone makes it the whole way through they will be considered the winner. If more than 1 person makes it all the way through it will be based on their time and the person with the fastest time will be considered the winner. Distance will be measured from the center of the front wheel. Driver must keep one hand on the handlebars at all times, follow the flagger’Äôs instructions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. You must have the ability to hook a strap on the rear of your quad for recovery.
2) If you wish to appeal a decision, it must be done before your ATV is moved from its final stopping point in the event. Once your ATV is moved, your run becomes final and can not be appealed.
3) It is up to the driver to connect the tow strap to their ATV. This IS NOT THE JOB of the safety workers. The driver takes the responsibility for any damage done to his/her ATV by getting towed out. It is up to the driver to have places on the ATV to secure the tow strap.

5) The decisions of the Event Manager are final.
BARREL RACE
The object is to run the cloverleaf pattern in the least amount of time.
Classes:
f. 2wd 250cc & under
g. 2wd 251cc & above
h. 4wd 325cc & under
i. 4wd 326cc - 450cc
j. 4wd 451cc & above
Event Rules
1) All ATVs must start from the designated start line.
2) When the flagger waves the green flag, you can start.
3) The ATV and rider must stay within the events markers.
4) If you or the ATV leaves the course, you are automatically disqualified for that run.
5) No restarts or re-runs. You get one attempt and one start.
6) The barrels must be run in a cloverleaf pattern (Right Barrel, Left Barrel, Furthest Barrel, Finish OR Left Barrel, Right Barrel, Furthest Barrel, Finish)
7) The Winners are determined based on their times to complete the correct pattern.
8) The Back County ATV Association reserves the right to alter the rules posted on this website. The final rules will be posted at the BCATV Rally.
9) The decisions of the Event Manager are final.
BLINDMAN CHALLENGE
The object is to have the driver blindfolded while the rider on the rear verbally guides them through a set of cones and back to the finish line. THERE ARE NO CLASSES FOR THIS EVENT
Event Rules
1) All ATVs must start from the designated start line.
2) When the flagger waves the green flag, you can start.
3) The ATV and ride must stay within the events markers.
4) If you or the ATV leaves the course, you are automatically disqualified for that run.
5) No restarts or re-runs. You get one attempt and one start.
6) The passenger can only verbally guide their driver through the course, no touching of their arms to help steer.
7) There will be no winners in this event as it is an event just for fun and entertainment.
8) The Back County ATV Association reserves the right to alter the rules posted on this website. The final rules will be posted at the BCATV Rally.
9) The decisions of the Event Manager are final.
